To Live, To Die?
this is an old poem that i found when i was going through my files, i think i wrote it some time in my sophmore year, not really how i feel these days but i like it fore some reason, i think sometimes we do fight a battle between our minds hearts and souls. miscommunicasions, not to mention they all interperate pain or hurt in a differnet way.
Confussion unaware
The thumping of my mind
killing my brain
this skin is iching
like nails scratching
blood is pumping
"Do you understand"
screams the mind
"NO! NO! NOT AGAIN"
crys the heart
"Dying again, are we?"
says the questing voice of the soul
eyes burning like fire
the mouth partched desert
the whole body betrayed
and empty
the skull is pounding
the heart bruised and scared
soul is now screaming
ears drip with blood
words echoing in my throat
as if traped no to escape
"its over-
its over-
its over-"
we're through
Confussion unaware
The thumping of my mind
killing my brain
this skin is iching
like nails scratching
blood is pumping
"Do you understand"
screams the mind
"NO! NO! NOT AGAIN"
crys the heart
"Dying again, are we?"
says the questing voice of the soul
eyes burning like fire
the mouth partched desert
the whole body betrayed
and empty
the skull is pounding
the heart bruised and scared
soul is now screaming
ears drip with blood
words echoing in my throat
as if traped no to escape
"its over-
its over-
its over-"
we're through
